Archaeological Wine Labels

These 'Left Field' Wine Labels Feature Imagined Mythical Creatures

'Left Field' wine company collaborated with Aaron Pollock Designs in creating new labels to solidify and strengthen the brand's image. The labels feature whimsical creatures that combine archaeological etchings and pure imagination.

Each label is a uniquely illustrated vintage-like image of a creature that doesn't truly exist. There are images such as the 'Flying Squidmill,' which is a fish and squid hybrid that also has massive fin-like wings. The bottom of the image also has a windmill that resembles a launchpad for the Flying Squidmill to take-off from.

The interesting creatures are a peculiar way to promote wine yet each label is cohesive with one anther and it creates a perfect unison among the bottles. This also reflects well on Left Field as a brand that provides authentically rustic wine with a playful sense of humor.
