NOSOMNIA's FW18 Line 'Leave My Mind Alone' is Inspired by a 70s Film

Danish fashion brand NOSOMNIA debuted its newest line of streetwear for Fall/Winter 2018 under the name 'Leave My Mind Alone.' The upcoming collection takes a strong influence from the visual tones and colors of David Bowie's famous film 'The Man Who Fell to Earth.' The film's aura is very extraterrestrial, colorful and simple and can be noted in the textiles and details of the pieces in the Danish collection.

The Leave My Mind Alone collection experiments with unique textiles, bold silhouettes and captivating contemporary design. The series includes classic silhouettes such as t-shirts, trench jackets and button-up shirts. Taking a step towards a more bold approach of silhouettes, NOSOMNIA created many pieces from lambskin, suiting wool, technical fabrics and merino wool. The color scheme is parallel to the bold material approach with appearances of neon greens and light blues.
