Beer Brewing Workshops

These Events Give Consumers an Opportunity to Learn About Homebrewing

'Hops & Vines' is now offering free workshops that give consumers an opportunity to learn about homebrewing. With the rising popularity of craft beer, many consumers have begun experimenting with the process of brewing their own beverages. These workshops teach consumers everything they need to know to begin brewing beer at home.

Although owner Alex Buerckholtz runs classes and free tasting events, Hops & Vines did not host workshops until very recently. Now the shop is providing more resources for the DIY beer community to learn about homebrewing. The free workshops run once a month and are completely open to the public. Previous sessions have explored topics such as the effects of yeast and the timing of hops. The workshops are aimed at those who already understand the basics of homebrewing, but not the specifics about how to take their beer to the next level. The idea is to provide an interactive environment for homebrewers to ask questions and experiment with different techniques.

The popularity of Buerckholtz's free workshops demonstrate the rise of homebrewing and the increasing consumer interest in learning about the beer-making process.
