Dyson's new LCD screen product is an air purifier that was created in the hopes of helping consumers better understand the functionality and instrumentality behind the cleaning utility. The Pure Cool boasts the traditional Dyson purifier silhouette, however the offering is updated with an LCD screen that tells the consumer when it's cleaning the home, as well as informs residents about the pollutants that have been detected inside the living space. The LCD screen product can "cycle through various pollutant levels like smoke, pollen or fumes from vehicles." Once detected, the air purifier signifies the level of the containment and works in real time to filter these unfriendly particles and bring them back to acceptable levels.
From an UX design perspective, the Dyson Pure Cool is superior to its predecessors due to its performance and informative nature.
