Larynx Cancer Patients of Unexpected Choir Perform Classic Beatles Songs

In attempt to raise larynx cancer awareness and to discourage its biggest contributor to the cancer – smoking -- an event was created by JWT Brazil for the A.C. Camargo Cancer Center. In the video, we witness a surprised audience who were waiting for the Sao Paulo University Choir, but instead are met by the Unexpected Choir, a musical group of laryngectomy patients who lost their vocal cords due to smoking. Using prosthesis and electronic larynx and sophageal voice.

The senior choir performed interpretations of The Beatles classics like All You Need is Love and She Loves You. At the end of the performance, the patients hold up banners that say "Listen to this choir’s voice: Don’t smoke" in front of a standing ovation of people applauding and cheering.
