Laptop Chargers Can Do Double Duty

Laptop Chargers Can Do Double Duty

I wouldn't call this product exactly “green” per se, but it does make something that is not so efficient into something useful. What I'm talking about is the laptop power / foot warmer by Clement Eloy. He's created a design that takes your overly warm transformer that is required for every laptop to function, and placed the transformer in a pair of fuzzy slippers so your feet stay warm. I must say that my feet get cold. Usually, I turn on the heater just to heat up my feet. Of course, it heats up the whole house and is extremely inefficient. Now, I honestly think I may save some serious power consumption while I work on my laptop by using this product. These slippers would definitely pay for themselves! Unfortunately, this is just a prototype.
