Glorifying Socialite Culture

Lady Gaga's “Beautiful Dirty Rich” Music Video

Paris Hilton would be very proud of Lady Gaga’s new music video, "Beautiful Dirty Rich". After all, the song and video celebrate the essence of Paris Hilton, the culture of socialites. The life of the rich and famous, without much (if any) talent.

Directed by Melina, the music video has a raw underground feel with photography direction that bares more than a little resemblance to that of David LaChapelle (which you can see in Rihanna’s Disturbia video below).

Lady Gaga is proving to be a force to be reckoned with in the dance scene. She is already drawing passionate comparisons to a young Madonna, and recently, the blogosphere accused Christina Aquilera of ripping off Lady Gaga’s style for her comeback and performance at MTV’s VMAs.

And with her first two videos both being featured on Trend Hunter, Lady Gaga just might be on to something.
