Nespoon, an artist from Warsaw, Poland, is best known for her signature pieces of lacy street art. Recently she's been using giant doilylike stencils and white spray paint to spruce up urban cement and create what she calls "jewelry of the public space."
The gallery above shows some of her spray-painted lace street art masterpieces, which look like glowing 3-D lace parachutes (or at least that's what I see) with intricate patterns. We've actually featured NeSpoon's work on Trend Hunter before, including her lace spiderwebs on the beach and cutesy street art designed just for kids.
In addition to her spray painted lacy street art, the gallery shows some of her other lacy works, including the mentioned crochet style webs.
Implications - Remixing something delicate (like lace) with something considered more counterculture (graffiti), NeSpoon plays with paradox to invoke thought. Top that off with spontaneous placement of her artwork in public, and she illustrates how entrepreneurs can not only grab attention, but how they can leverage that attention to create conversation.
