This Set of Chopsticks Will Detect What's Safe for You to Eat

Move over smartphones and iWatch, there's a new smartypants in town -- Kuaishou, also known as the Smart Chopsticks. Baidu, the Chinese tech company, recently introduced the product at its annual conference in Beijing.

The idea behind Kuaishou:The Smart Chopsticks is that they'll be able to detect if a food item is safe for consumption or not. One of the biggest health concerns in China happens to be food consumed cooked in unsanitary oil. In the recent years, China has had grave health hazards with a form of milk killing infants and what not.

The Kuaishou:The Smart Chopsticks have been shown to sense harmful ingredients in the food item and stop the individual from eating it. According to Baidu, the chopsticks are equipped to check the pH levels, temperature as well as calories.

The product connects itself with a smartphone and gives you readings that are either "good" or "bad." Using the sticks is like using a wireless set of headphones.
