The Kristin Smith 'Bodies of Thought' Series Creates Dynamic Visuals

The Kristin Smith 'Bodies of Thought' is meant to express the capacity of a human's movement in the everyday. The beautifully blurred captures were created by San Francisco-based artist and photographer Kristin Smith. Each photograph shows barely recognizable bodies caught in the midst of an improvised motion. The series has the capacity to remove the definition of personality of the human subjects and instead evoke the familiar pattern of movement within all humans that is both ethereal and inspiring.

According to Smith's website, the images are meant to "highlight evidence of this intelligence by creating a visual map of the body's thought process captured through photography." The Kristin Smith Bodies of Thought was inspired by the research of scientist Candace B. Pert, and manages to turn information into art.
