Krishi Naturals Works with Farmers to Support Biodiversity

Krishni Naturals was launched by Ketan Parmar and is now on the Dell Social Innovation Challenge. It's mission is to promote organic farming while at the same time supporting farmers and addressing poverty among farmers in India. It's an "end to end" response that aims to be holistic and address how chemical farming fits into the picture in recent years.

"In the context of an epidemic of farmer suicide – claiming one life every 12 hours – Krishi Naturals' mission goes beyond environmental do-gooding," wrote Pathik Pathak on the Guardian Social Enterprise's International Hub in a piece called "Social enterprise in India makes steady progress." "Krishi Naturals has two related objectives: to provide a sustainable livelihood for farmers and to popularise organic farming."
