Exceptionally Crafted Sleds

Kringle Sleigh is Beautifully Designed to Balance Function and Fantasy

The Kringle Sleigh looks a lot like how you might picture Santa's sleigh, doesn't it? Steuart Padwick and the MADE team did a truly wonderful job translating such a magical object into a tangible creation that appears to exude a fantastical quality about it.

Scandinavian white ash wood was steam-bent and used to make the smoothly curved surfaces of the Christmas sleigh's body, giving it an elegant silhouette. A roasted chestnut veneer was applied to the sides of the cabin, and coated in a candy cane red lacquer. A large storage compartment was incorporated behind the sheep's wool upholstered armchair and the entire thing sits upon skis with bronze phosphor plating. The Kringle Sleigh looks marvelous as a festive decoration, yet it has been engineered carefully to enable full functionality.
