Everland and Læsk Designed a Kombucha Homebrewing Kit For IKEA

Everland and Læsk recently unveiled a new Kombucha Homebrewing Kit for IKEA at the annual Democratic Design Days. Kombucha has recently become a mainstream health phenomenon that boosts users immune and gut systems. The product typically comes pre-brewed, as the live-mother can be difficult for consumers to access.

The new three-step ready-to-brew kit includes this hard-to-find live-mother. The kit includes coffee-styled paper bags, fermentation jars, and yellow aluminum Kombucha cans. The eye-catching designs feature playful graphics, vibrant millennial colors, and restrained, understated typography. Each packaging includes a number to indicate which step it is, for a simple user-friendly experience. The labels of tea correspond to the kinds of tea -- Chamomile + Rose tea is pale pink, Cocoa + Spearmint is a light green, and Hibiscus + Lemongrass is in a red label.

The Kombucha Homebrewing Kit will launch in Prague first, then be introduced internationally.
