Photo-Liberating Campaigns

Kodak 'Free Mark' Campaign Aims to Set 1 Million Facebook Photos Free

According to the Kodak 'Free Mark' campaign, there are billions of photos on Facebook that are just crying out to be liberated and enjoyed outside of the web. To encourage people to do more with their online photos, Kodak has enlisted the help of comedian and actor Mark Malkoff. Malkoff will be trapped inside a plexiglass box until 1 million Facebook photos have been "set free."

To help free Mark, participants can use the My Kodak Moments app or go to a KODAK Picture Kiosk to create a free, 8×10 collage using their Facebook photos. Participant's don't have to be where the NYC plexiglass box containing Malkoff is, either. You can simply download the app or the collage coupon at Kodak's Facebook page, create your collage or photo book and then print out your creation. The Kodak 'Free Mark' Facebook page also features live video footage of Malkoff trapped inside the box in addition to a running counter that displays how many pictures have been freed so far.
