Kingswood Wine Packaging Harnesses the Beauty of the Wilderness

A beverage coming out of a place as beautiful as British Columbia, Canada, should be sheathed in nothing less authentic than what you find in Kingswood Wine packaging. The branding of the fictional label was undertaken by student Erica Craig, and aims to channel the raw charm of the western landscape.

Dense wooden boxes were chosen as the primary presentation for the limited editions of alcoholic drink bottles. As much of the timber's natural character as possible was left as is and simply sanded and stained to create the appearance of home-crafted cases. The silhouette of a passive but alert stag was chosen to don the Kingswood Wine packaging, giving the brand a gender neutrality. The lid is composed of sliding stamped slats which function as collectible coasters.
