To help kids with cancer feel like they have the strength of a superhero while undergoing chemotherapy, the Hospital A.C. Camargo Cancer Center came up with an inspiring idea to help them keep fighting. To do this, the hospital developed hard-cover cases with emblems from Justice League superheros to enclose the intravenous bags, to deliver the "superformula to fight cancer."
The idea is a simple way to help give kids that boost of courage during their ongoing battle. Inspired by these efforts, advertising agency JWT Brazil created comic books and animations where the "superheroes go through experiences similar to those of kids with cancer, and recover their strength." Although cancer is very real, these graphics help kids understand the treatment in a fun way that instills hope.
