Faux Wired Foliage

The Ken To Wire Bonsai Trees Are Miniature Handmade Sculptures

The Ken To Wire Bonsai Trees are made of exhibition wire. The artist has carefully molded the metallic strips into the shapes of miniature trees, ones that can be held between two fingers only.

These shrunken sculptures replicate the exact shape and features of real bonsai shrubs. To's micro aspects bring the plant down to its most essential elements however as he removes surrounding foliage. Standing small at approximately two to four inches, the pieces are adorable and remarkably detailed.

To worked alongside Jim Barrett who produced the tiny pots within which the bonsai trees sit. These are equally essential to the overall look of the pieces as they sit pretty within the dark green canisters.
