Volkswagen's Posters Show Where It's Important to Keep a Safe Distance

In order to get the word out about how important it is to keep a safe distance from other cars on the road, Volkswagen set up a series of comical advertisements in Spain for its ACC System.

Although drivers on the road need to see this message about Adaptive Cruise Control the most, the unusual poster series created by DDB Barcelona points out other areas where a buffer zone is required off of the streets. This was done by creating a group of location-specific advertisements where rival businesses are located one beside another. Between the spaces that divide retail shops for big brands like McDonald's and Burger King or Mercedez-Benz and Jaguar, Volkswagen set up signs that read: "Keep a friendly distance."
