The Nike 'KD7 What The' Merges Together 18 Different Shoe Designs

Nike Basketball's Kevin Durant signature shoe line will be receiving a brand new colourway that mixes and matches the company's past shoe designs into the uniquely inspired 'KD7 What The' basketball shoe.

The head-scratching 'What The' design motif first originated in 2007 for the release of the Nike SB What the Dunk shoe. Made by designer James Arizum, the release took inspiration from several designs available from the company's line of professional skateboarding sneakers. For the 'KD7 What The,' 18 different shoe designs featuring an array of graphics, patterns and colors from the KD7 line were blended together to create a professional basketball sneaker that also creatively draws from its past.

The 'KD7 What The' will be released alongside a matching t-shirt, and features everything from mismatched foot straps, lighting-inspired graphics and even glow-in-the-dark hyperposite heels.
