In the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic, Jupiter Hotel, a Portland-based hotel company, recently announced the brand will be donating 81 hotel rooms to homeless people showing symptoms of COVID-19 to allow them to stay in quarantine. The donation of this space will assist in halting the spread of the virus, as many shelters are having trouble keeping occupants 6-feet apart.
