Joshua DeMonte’s Aqueduct Collar is part of an imaginative collection of jewelry. Each piece has been modeled after various architectural elements, like bracelets of open windows with curtains blowing in the breeze, wrist-wrapping cathedrals, and my favorite, the red carpet-lined grand staircase collar.
There is a M.C. Escher feel to DeMonte’s work with surreal spiraling shapes and peculiar architectural perspectives. Joshua DeMonte is a graduate of Tyler School of Art, Temple University in Philadelphia, where he currently resides.
