It's usually tough for me to pick out distinguishing themes within a fashion collection, but Jeremy Scott's Fall 2009 RTW line screams out one name alone: Mickey Mouse. Models strutted the runway in familiar red suspender shorts, polka dots and plenty of bright, eye-catching colors paired with black.
Jeremy Scott's models also featured angled bangs and shaved hairlines in the shape of an 'M.' Another nod to Mickey and Minnie, perhaps?
Implications - Either way, these Mickey Mouse-inspired fashion statements are not only appealing to children, but they are totally wearable for adults. After all, many adults look back on their childhood years fairly fondly.
