Beef Jerky Sasquatch Mosaics

Jason Mecier Uses Jack Link's Meat Products to Create Amazing Art

While some people use beef jerky to munch on, mosaic artist Jason Mecier uses it to make creative art portraits.

In honor of Nation Beef Jerky Day on June 12, Mecier partnered with Jack Link's Beef Jerky to create a mosaic depicting the hairy beast, Sasquatch. This spectacular portrait uses hundreds of Jack Link's beef jerky bags that come in a variety of taste and textures. Viewers can see the different shades of hues Mecier uses in order to create contrast in the portrait.

For the lighter colors seen on Sasquatch's face and hair, Mecier used Jack Link's chicken products, which are lighter and comes in a different texture. Jack Mecier is known for his mosaics and has created images of famous people and characters such as Lady Gaga, Snopp Dogg and Freddy Krueger.
