These Japanese Sugar Skulls are a Perfect Sweetener for Halloween

With Halloween fast approaching, what better time to get a little morbid than with these tiny and decorative Japanese sugar skulls?

Designed by artist Nobumasa Takahashi, this miniature set of sugary skulls was made with a fine-grained premium Japanese sugar known as Wasanbon. Each order of skulls comes in a set of 18 with nine colored white and the other half colored a dark black. The black skulls are made from the same type of high-quality sugar, but have been colored with a natural bamboo charcoal that doesn't affect their sweet taste.

Each skull also comes individually wrapped in tissue paper and is stored in an appropriately themed black and white skull package. Use these unconventional sugar cubes in your coffee the next time you're feeling particularly spooky.
