The Jaguars Stadium Was Improved Through a Data-Focused Collaboration

Improvements to the Jacksonville Jaguars stadium will come as a result of its partnership with the technology provider SIEMENS. SIEMENS has had a previous relationship with the football team, where the technology company worked to make TIAA Bank Feild a more energy-efficient stadium.

SIEMENS will now also work to improve TIAA Bank Field using its Mindsphere cloud-based technology, which will improve game performance and the fan experience using data. Mindsphere will also improve the actual playing field in the stadium. Groundskeeping staff will be able to upload moisture and other data to the Mindsphere cloud and receive analysis on this data. When Jaguars stadium undergoes field tests anywhere from 15 to 30 measurements are taken, all of which can be uploaded to the cloud for further analysis.
