Global entertainment and toy brand Hasbro has partnered with superstar Colombian musician J Balvin to launch an all-new limited-edition version of Monopoly, an iconic real-estate-themed board game that was first released in 1933.
What makes this collaboration particularly unique is that it marks the first partnership between Monopoly and a Latin artist. Accordingly, the new board draws from J Balvin's eccentric and maximalist fashion as well as his Columbian heritage and upbringing. Because of this, the board comes dressed in a variety of bright rainbow-themed colors and features eye-popping smiley face designs. In addition, the game has been updated to feature music-specific elements such as concert tickets, music venues, and cards related to collecting music royalties.
For those interested, the new Monopoly: J Balvin Limited Edition is now available on Hasbro's website.
