Discriminating Dispensers (UPDATE)

Kraft's iSample Experience Ensures Only Some People Get Samples

Recently, Trend Hunter featured Kraft Foods' Jell-O Temptations vending machine, a dessert dispenser that analyzes your face before it gives you a sample. The technology behind the face-analyzing machine is called the 'iSample Experience,' and you can now see it in action in this video.

Kraft's iSample Experience, which was developed in conjunction with Intel Corp., makes sure you're old enough to try samples by scanning your face and, before you can try the free food sample, you must text a code or scan a barcode with your phone. Currently being tested in New York and Chicago, the iSample Experience robot will be used to test a variety of Kraft Foods (not just Jell-O) -- everything from Oscar Meyer meat to Oreos, says Jezebel.
