The machine has been in development for four years now and is being launched as part of the brand's 280th anniversary. The automated Signing Machine is completely mechanical and consists of 585 parts.
Inspired by the iconic Jaquet Droz Writer and Draughtsman, this intricate machine is easily capable of carrying out perfect and consistent signatures. The machine is currently the subject of two patent applications and is able to produce two full signatures before needing to be wound up using a lever on its side.
The Signing Machine is completely assembled by hand, as is the "programming" of the signature and signing mechanism. The exterior is gorgeously polished and finished with hand-engraved blackened hardwood. The device is fully portable and comes with a leather pouch for carrying.
