AEI's Creative Interactive Space Invites Kids to Learn Freely

'AEI,' or 'Arquitectura e Interiores,' is the architectural firm that's responsible for designing a colorful interactive space for children that not only facilitates fun and learning, but provides the school it's located in with an sleek and aesthetically appealing atmosphere.

Dubbed the 'Colegio Anglo Colombiano' project, the children's library utilizes a vibrant color palette and geometric shapes that can be modulated for different activities with ease. For example, cushions positioned in the wall can be taken out to form resting places for children to read on, or stacked up to form sculptures and forts.

Whiteboards that hang from the ceiling in the shape of trees add to the playful atmosphere as well, which can be moved along to free up more of the interactive space when needed. Photo Credits: designboom, en.aeilatam
