The InstantCool Vest Uses NASA Tech to Keep You Cool

Staying cool in the summer rarely involves putting an extra layer on, but the InstantCool vest may just be the exception to this rule. Developed by Shenzhen, China-based company Volcanoes-Electronics, this cooling vest uses NASA-developed technology that involves a network of microtubes to circulate chilled water across the wearer's body. This system is being touted as an invisible personal air conditioning unit for the body and claims to reduce body heat quickly and efficiently.

The vest manages to circulate the chilled water by using a battery-powered pump and draws from a reservoir through the microtubes. The entire system of the InstantCool vest can easily be shut off with a touch of a button. The entire system is easily removed, and only requires wearers to pull out the USB port, mobile power bank, ice box and water pump, and can machine washed once these components are taken out.
