AABE designed the 'Infinity house,' an immense alabaster residence located in Baleares, Spain.
With its unique position, the Infinity House appears to enclose the horizon in its a warm, loving embrace. The architects managed to create a home that creates an emotional resonance by "opening or splitting, reflecting infinity." Though infinity is a concept that, as mortal and finite beings, we can't entirely grasp, the architects incorporated the (infinite) elements of space, time and beauty into this magnificent architectural form.
The white walls act as blank canvas, on which the surrounding nature has imprinted itself upon. The home therefore acts as a form of expression which communicates the endless cycle of rebirth in nature, offering a sense of the "infinite."
