London-based Nicholas Kirk Architects has created this slim infill home that creates a workable living space sandwiched between two existing period terrace homes.
Located in North London, England, the 'Newington Green' residence rests in a space only 16 feet wide. The timber frame building was specifically built to be multiple storeys tall in order to provide enough living space for the home owners to still remain comfortable and relaxed.
The infill home is made up of four different levels and each provides an area for the different members of the family to have their own private living space. The main entrance allows access to the stairs, and the first floor provides a living area for the whole family to enjoy. The second floor houses the children's bedroom and main bathroom, while on the top floor sits the master bedroom and a small study area.
