In an attempt to fund the film of their dreams, Kyle Welton, Avery Pearson and Adam Risbridger have created an Indiegogo campaign video that will shock and amuse you. Their cinematic project, tentatively titled ‘The Etiquette of Sexting,’ strives to be the first film to label itself an "indie sext comedy." Unfortunately, the suits didn’t have faith in the idea, which is why these ambitious film-makers are looking to the like-minded individuals of the Internet for support.
The film centers around Brent, a rueful protagonist who has just discovered his longtime girlfriend has been secretly sexting another man. Since Brent is a little late to the sexting game, he enlists the help of his seasoned friend Andy as he embarks on a new relationship with his co-worker. Unfortunately, everything goes awry when a duplicitous colleague throws a wrench in Brent’s game plan by framing him for a sext he didn’t commit.
The campaign features a preview, so viewers get a gist of what’s to come if the film reaches completion. Those who donate also win awesome swag prizes, like T-shirts or a sext from one of the actors themselves.
