Safwat Saleem's collection of (In)Appropriate Letterpress Cards display a holiday greeting in the most unlikely of ways.
Most cards depict a fuzzy picture that will cause the viewer to "ooh" and "awe;" Saleem's, on the other hand, show a Venn diagram or a bar graph that crudely tells the reader how appreciated they are. For instance, for the 'How I Spent My Day' card, a pie chart is shown depicting a large blue space that reads "Not Thinking of You" and a tiny tan sliver that says "Thinking of You Long Enough to Send This Card." Not exactly words that go to great lengths to show affection, but if they weren't insulting then the greetings couldn't be deemed inappropriate.
The (In)Appropriate Letterpress Cards are part of a Kickstarter project that also boasts a "Badass" memo book.
