Pet-Centric Airline Channels

British Airways Has a New In-Flight TV Channel That's All About Pets

Air travel can be pretty uncomfortable for people and in an effort to make travelling by airplane as comfortable as possible, the airline is now introducing a new channel for in-flight entertainment called 'Paws and Relax.'

The Paws and Relax channel will feature documentaries that are all about pets, including titles like 'The Secret Life of Cats,' 'Simon's Cat' and 'America's Cutest Dog.' Since the airline has been rolling out "Slow TV" programming that's designed to help travelers relax, this is another attempt to lower heart rate levels and take the stress of travel down a notch. To promote the new channel that's launching this September, the airline partnered with the Battersea Dogs & Cats Home to show off adorable pets that are up for adoption.
