Blowup Castle Installations

This Immersive Art Installation is a Bouncy Castle for Adults

Artist Camille Walala privileges accessibility within the art world by creating elaborate and immersive art installations that can be enjoyed by novice and seasoned art lovers alike. Most recently, the artist debuted a blowup castle complete with her signature patterns at this year's London Design Festival.

The installation was built in a public city center, with the intention of helping office workers relax and de-stress through momentarily escaping from their everyday lives. The interior of the blowup castle is scattered with zig-zag patterns, strips and polka dots, creating a playful distortion for anyone who walks through.

Like Walala's previous installation, the blowup castle aims to help visitors reminisce on positive childhood experiences, encouraging guests to temporarily escape from the chaos of city living.
