Imaginary Geographies is Designed by Chilean Design Collective gt2P

Imaginary Geographies is the Andes Mountain range-inspired collection of furniture by the Chilean design collective gt2P (great things to People). The collection is made from a digitally-informed material reconstruction of the iconic geography of the inspirational area.

The Andes Range runs from the northern border of Chile to Santiago. The design team employed technology and digital fabrication techniques to create lines from sounds. These were then converted into striking furniture pieces. With the technology uses, the designers captured Chilean culture and reflected it in the Imaginary Geographies collection, which comprises two pieces.

The circular Coffee Table features a textured spiral that expands from an inner black basalt circle. The pale wood Credenza, on the other hand, features paralleled carvings.
