Weaved Flower Sculptures

Ignacio Canales Aracil Creates Amazing Art Using Daisies and Daffodils

Ignacio Canales Aracil is a Spanish artist who has created a set of stunning sculptures out using only flowers picked from U.K. fields and parks. Known as ‘The Fragility of Time,’ these nature-inspired sculptures are held together without adhesive of any kind.

Ignacio Canales Aracil weaved these sculptures onto a plastic mold to give them their unique shape. The only additive to ‘The Fragility of Time’ was varnish, and that was only done to prevent moisture absorption. Although their name is artsy, these sculptures are still surprisingly fun and accessible to people outside of the art scene.
