Idea Tree by Lifethings Lets Passersby Voice Their Concepts

At first glance, the Idea Tree by Lifethings, a design studio based in Seoul, South Korea, could be taken as yet another sculptural pavilion that is meant to be appreciated by the public. In essence, it is. Yet it has an interactive element that sets it apart from its brothers and sisters around the world. As per its name, the center of the canopy is a seed pod that allows people record their ideas, which are then remixed into haikus that are repeated to others.

Interestingly, the recordings of the Idea Tree by Lifethings that are not listened to that often wither and die while those that are thrive and continue to be heard. Located outside of the San Jose McEnery Convention Center, is also beautiful to behold.
