Iceland Christmas Delivery Drivers Can Train for the Rush

Iceland Christmas delivery drivers are being supported by the retailer ahead of the holiday rush with access to its depot gym as a way to help them train to easily tackle their deliveries. The initiative comes as Iceland Foods in the UK hires more than 1,8000 new driver and retail associates for the holiday season who will be able to use the depot gym 24-hours a day. This will be particularly relevant for delivery drivers who often have to handle endless flights of stairs to get their deliveries done and need to be in practice to do so.

Chief Commercial Officer Paul Dhaliwal commented on the initiative for Iceland Christmas delivery drivers saying, "Our drivers are the unsung heroes of Christmas. They don’t just go the extra mile they go the extra flight, ensuring that our customers get the very best service and their shopping delivered to their door, no matter what floor they live on."
