The IBM NYC Flagship Location is Designed by Gensler

The new IBM NYC Flagship location is designed by the team at Gensler at the Flatiron District. Found in One Madison Avenue, the flagship brings attention to the tech company's New York workforce. When entering the space, the ground floor lobby has a bold Quantum Wave sculpture which measures 40 feet in length. It captures the energy of the space and works as a visual representation of emerging and future technologies.

The gathering spot has a coffee bar and turns into a cocktail bar after work. John Budesa, studio director and senior associate at Gensler spoke about the design project, noting "We really start with the user experience and mapping those journeys, and there was an opportunity for impromptu connections between team members that didn’t always work together."
