Raw and full of emotion, the i-D Summer 2012 editorial is inspired by the performing arts. Set on stage, backstage and in studio, this photoshoot explores the different facets of such performances as well as the performers while showcasing a dramatic mix of minimalist outfits and theatrical costumes.

Dancing in front of New York-based photographer Greg Kadel's lens, model Malgosia Bela taps into her artistic self to express a multitude of emotions and ideas through her movements. Styled by Havana Laffitte, the i-D Summer 2012 showcases stunning designs from such labels as Alexander McQueen, Balenciaga, Jil Sander and Louis Vuitton. The Polish beauty had her hair undone by Ward Stegerhoek and face powered by Lisa Houghton.
