The Huttenpalast is a concept for a quirky hotel thought up by Silke Lorenzen and Sarah Vollmer. The idea behind this hip place to stay is not only eco-friendly, but totally appealing to any traveller looking for a unique place to stay the night.
Comprised of renovated campsite caravans, Huttenpalast is a low-cost alternative to staying in an over-priced hotel or sketchy B&B. The huts are built of wood and the team behind the project is busy at work constructing six en-suite rooms. There will eventually be more luxe rooms available, but currently what you see in the gallery above is what is available.
It's definitely not your run-of -the-mill place to have an overnighter, but that's why I love the concept.
