This hut-shaped line of office furniture is designed with both collaboration and comfort in mind. Inspired by a room-in-room concept, 'The Hut' is a bright piece of furniture that creates a small and cozy additional area for either individual work or collaborative meetings. The piece can also act as a place to unwind and relax in during busy days.
Made in collaboration with Swedish-based company Gotessons and Finnish architecture firm Workspace, the initial design concept was inspired by the game pieces from iconic board game, Monopoly. Made from a wooden frame, the furniture is then covered in a colorful fire-proof textile and is also insulated to help improve the overall acoustics inside the hut.
These hut-shaped structures help create miniature spaces within a space and in doing so allow work and play to naturally form from within.
