The Humble One SUV Features 80-Square-Feet of Solar Cells

The Humble One SUV is an ultra-efficient vehicle engineered with ending range anxiety thanks to a solar cell-covered exterior. The vehicle maintains a sleek construction, which is accented with 80-square-feet of solar cells on the rooftop that are capable of generating more than 3Mwh of power over the course of a year. This solar array is connected to an onboard system of panels, converters and chargers to power the vehicle during drives.

The Humble One SUV features an 80kWh battery rated for between 250 and 300-miles of range to keep drivers going at nighttime. Available now for reservation, the vehicle is slated to start being delivered in 2026. The vehicle identifies how electric vehicle charging stations could be superseded by simply building the technology into the car itself.
