The 'Animal in Me' series is inspired by how human reactions, emotions, feelings and fears very much resemble the same reactions in animals -- even though most humans would beg to differ, thinking they are more superior to animals when it comes to the array of emotions and feelings they portray.
Created by Oscar Delmar -- who divides his time between the Canary Islands and Barcelona -- the humanimal illustrations series is his way of connecting with the animal within.
"We have an animal origin, still present, which can be seen in gestures and innate movements we have. But our intelligence, our individual consciousness supposedly makes us different...or perhaps, the man is a nature’s mistake," says Delmar.
