Traffic-Free Urban Cycling Events

The HSBC UK City Ride Series Gives Families a Safe Cycling Route

Cycling can be a great way to tour the city as a family, but city streets aren't always friendly for cyclists, so the HSBC UK City Ride event provides a safe environment. The event sections off extensive routes throughout cities in the UK, giving riders of all ages and abilities the chance to happily, calmly, and safely cycle through the hearts of their towns.

There are several HSBC UK City Ride events taking place over the course of the summer, and each of those provides a unique view of the local area. In Sheffield, for example, riders went on an 8 kilometer route that passed by the town hall, the Winter Garden, and Sheffield United's Bramall Lane. It was led by two Olympic medalists in cycling, Katy Marchant and Callum Skinner, both of whom praised the event.
