People usually see aircrafts whipping through the skies but this aircraft art installation entitled 'How I Roll' by Paola Pivi is set up in New York City's Central Park.
Pedestrians can see a six seater plane slowly twirling, attached to two steel beams by the wing within a fenced off space. It's a peculiar sight for a park and Alaska-based artist Pivi conducted this project for the Public Art Fund. This endless turning Seneca plane goes clockwise in a range of motion and will continue turning until the August 26.
Although the World Trade Center incident is long gone, this art installation, which has no affiliation with 9/11, is a grim reminder of the Tuesday morning when America was faced with struggle and chaos.
