This IPA Combines Hints of Light Pine With Fruity Tropical Notes

California-based Anderson Valley Brewing Company has made a name for itself by crafting marvelously unique and delicious lagers and ales for around 35 years now, and the brewery is poised to further its reputation with the launch of its new Double IPA.

This Double IPA, which comes in at a solid 8.8% ABV (alcohol by volume), is being launched as part of Anderson Valley's Rotational IPA series. Inspired by the West Coast IPA format, this particular brew is unabashedly hop-forward, whilst also being balanced out by arboreal aromas as well as fruity notes of apricot and citrus.

"The Double IPA features a generous helping of hops and a full fresh profile, perfect for the arrival of warmer weather in the spring," noted Anderson Valley's president Kevin McGee.

The beer is sold April through June in six-packs of 12-ounce cans.
