These Honda Ads Show Texts Being Corrected From Car Icons to Honda Vehicles

The team at McCann Tel Aviv created these clever Honda ads which incorporate text messages and auto correct to promote the brand’s vehicles. Each ad is simply designed atop a light-colored background. There is an image of a text box that contains a portion of an ordinary vehicle. This is followed by a second text box, which contains an image of a beautiful Honda vehicle.

All of these Honda ads have the same tagline, which reads "Auto Correct by Honda, Trade Your Incorrect Car for the Correct Car." The ads are silently telling the consumer that there is a Honda vehicle suited for each driver’s needs. The play on the word "auto," which can mean automatic or automobile is a comical marketing tactic.

Each printed ad is simple, sleek and clever. The use of minimal text and graphics allows the audience to fully grasp the message, without being overwhelmed.
